Will a 1999 mazda 626 transmission fit in a 1998?

don't think made changes in transmission between 98 , 99, i'm not 100% sure on that, might want check local mechanic on that.

know 626 had known issues transmissions going out around 70,000 miles, , mazda has refused recall on them. although national transportation highway safety references problem.

mention because used transmission may on verge of going bad, , i'd hate work , still not have car drive.

i have 1998 mazda 626 trans going bad , found guy parting out car , has 1999 626 don't know if trans fit please me out.
