What types of classes should I focus on to pursue a major in philosophy?

well, guess world religion start; introduced of major eastern philosophies (buddhism, hinduism, taoism, etc) , perhaps of major western philosophers/theologians such augustine, aquinas, anselm, etc.

psychology won't much. i'd suggest idiots guide philosophy, summary of major philosophers , ideas. isn't ideal; best way, if have time, start reading of dialogues of plato (the apology, crito, etc.)
many read of descartes' meditations; it's bit rougher-going plato, students can handle right.

i believe want major in philosophy.. i'm not sure yet.. i'm going it. types of classes in high school should take focus on philosophy (there no actual philosophy class)? i'm thinking world religion... that's all? maybe psychology?
