Perfecting Drawing Skills, Any good books?

draw pretty average. taught myself draw when young have faith can better, stopped drawing while. don't know made me stop.
noticed used give me comfort i've been missing. i'd know if knows of books wants tips improve on drawing skills?
don't think need actual person in front of me , direct me on how draw because think art can teach yourself, kind of had done myself.
