Nissan Titan making a thumping noise.?

have 2006 nissan titan , lately has been making thumping noise under truck when in reverse. speed of sound depends on how fast truck moving. happens occasionaly when truck crawling forward, such idle speed. have no idea , dont want pay auto shop if simple can fix myself. ideas?
