Tuition tax credit carry forward question (Canada only)?

can't transfer carry forwarded amounts tuition, textbook or education amounts. can transfer them year receipted for. i.e., can transfer 2008 amounts in returns filed 2008 only.

if person want transfer credits had taxes payable in 1 of prior years, might able adjust years, transferring 2008 credits 2008 return, , reducing amount carried forward. since non-refundable credit, helps if had pay tax. call general inquiries number double check before that, though.

so have approx. 20000 in tax credit of finished school in late 2008. have filed taxes 2009 including tuition. there possible way still transfer of tax credit still family member?
