Fixed gear for commuting?

perhaps should consider motobecane cross fantom uno. ride , love it. has braze ons adding panniers both rear , front while still having room add wheels sized 700x42 (probably 700x35 if add fenders). still light enough haul around. commute on doing 45 mile round trip. (ignore wle he's fixed gear hater) it's lot cheaper , easy customize , upgrade high end parts, changed mine fixed gear trick bike putting on downhill , bmx parts. check out bike @ http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/moto... $400 free shipping. hope i've been helpful.
