Do Printers use a lot of electricity?

depends on printer. laser printers use lot of electricity heat roller element binds ink paper. inkjet printers use minimal amounts of electricity can add on time. 1 show in 1 printer, use more electricity inkjet without features, less laser printer.

when turn off printer printer on/off button still draws power. can buy smart surge protectors can shut off unused equipment when needed save energy.
