Car Audio Volume Problem. PLEASE HELP.?

hello everyone, have 94 chevy cavalier, , 4 months ago had dual xdm6350 stereo deck installed in car. improved audio, unfortunately noticed not turn past 23, pretty quiet. assuming low grade stock speakers, had 2 pyramid 300w 6x9's installed, fix problem. proceeded find out, still not go louder stock speakers! frustrated. of friends' stock stereos can play louder after market, , don't understand why. want jam out music. please help, , appreciated. - andrew
