Are all Volkswagen GTI's turbocharged?

direct answer question no, however, if talking 2006 gti 2.0 t turbo engined vehicle. in history of vw (at least in usa), gti's have many years been non-turbo, in fact, "original" gti in rabbi( nee "golf" everywhere else) modified stock rabbit different ratio gear box, larger sized tyres, sport suspension , same engine rabbit. varies somewhat, people seem think original meaning of "i" injection (fuel); gt model fuel injected motor became "gti".

during various times of gti in usa, has been offered 4 cylinders only, sometmes 16 valve motor, vr6 engined model, both turbo or vr6 engine. depends on year engine came in gti , in years, 1990's vw didn't sell gti in usa. in general, @ least in rabbit/golf models, if golf/rabbit had turbo engine in it, gping gti model.
