What is the order of sightseeing places in delhi from airport to railway station?

on day tour delhi family in mid december. land @ delhi airport around 8:30 in morning , leave agra through train @ evening 6:30 pm. now, can please advise me should order of visiting sight seeing places airport railway station can save time , money. i'll having around 8-9 hours of time @ disposal. commuting options viable me. delhi metro or prepaid taxi? fares charged if
