What exactly is a Microsite?

write seo articles company publish write on microsites...i have had @ finished things....they're basic websites maybe 4 pages choose from. each page article stuffed keywords on same subject.

homepage of site has lots of links , ads.....all related articles write.

so...the company buy articles...do make money ads? or make money 1 online company paying them make site?

how work? hard build site this? annoys me honest....that providing body of site , company must making heck of lot more do!

happy have work wondered if make own microsites...making money adsense....or whatever!
