according newcars.com , variety of other car websites i've searched paticular question, both good, but:

-the legacy has broad price range, ranging $19000-$34000 in price
-the legacy can outrun galant in power, higher insurance premieums trade off
-the basic after-sale protection comes subaru legacy isn't quite generous mitsubishi galant's.
