Why didnt GM drop Buick?

buick still has lot of potential, , have more 3 models:

enclave
lucerne
lacrosse
regal (added 2011)

introducing small car , small crossover between , 2012.

part of reason buick's success in china, bigger reason buick 'step-down' car cadillac , step (maybe two) chevy.

pontiac had lost edge in last few years, save g8 , gto. in fact, many people thought pontiac phased out few years ago because of lineup rebadged chevies , g-names not known buyers. not enough people distinguish pontiac other cars in gm's lineup.

imo, should have cut 1 car -- pontiac -- , gm would've kept them around.

i love pontiac, , odnt think should have been dropped. buick sells 3 cars, not great looking. decide yourself. thought pontiac has style out of 3 brands, , im sad see going out. cool have pontiac.
