Where in the new testament can one find the genealogy of Mary the birth mother of Jesus?
can't supply book, chapter & version of bible 1 can find genealogy of mary, birth mother of jesus -- because not *in* bible. , pointing luke 3, 23 - 38 or matt. 1, 1 - 17 misleading you, *neither* (of these 2 totally *contradictory* genealogies of joseph) genealogy of mary.
matthew 1:16 says "and jacob father of joseph husband of mary, of whom jesus born, called christ." (i'm using rsv translation.)
*not* say, "and jacob father of mary, of whom jesus born..."
luke 3:23 says, "jesus, when began ministry, thirty years of age, being son (as supposed) of joseph, son of heli..."
*not* say, "being son of mary, daughter of heli..."
if bible means *mary* when *says* joseph -- meaning rachel when says leah, mean peter when says judas iscariot, mean jehovah when says satan! heavens! -- saying andrew when means salome!
rationale claiming 1 of genealogies of mary obvious -- because conflicting genealogies joseph (who had *one* sperm-bearing father -- & step-father never have counted genuine genealogy in jewish tradition) provides of blatant (& totally obvious) series of contradictions in scripture!
can supply book, chapter , version of bible can find in please?
thank you.
