LPT1 printer port in modern pcs?

computer doesn't have regular printer port? in of computer , check because motherboards desktop computers still provide lpt1 connector @ back.
if not, you'll have conversion cable/device ray mentioned.

real problem may won't able find printer driver old printer. click on 'add printer' under 'printers & faxes' in control panel run printer installation wizard. if printer not listed , can't find on internet, try 1 of other printer models listed under printer manufacturer.

after that, can try printing out invoices. remember select printer use when print out invoices whichever program using.

if selected different printer driver , invoices not printing properly, can try editing invoices not include kind of graphics (just regular text) , saving them regular ansi text file (.txt). after that, click on start button, click on 'run...' , type in 'cmd' (without quotes) , press enter key. when console window pops up, type in 'edit' (no quotes) , press enter. edit text editor simple console program , allows print text printers connected lpt1 printer port. can select built-in printer font use through controls on printer.

if you're using dot matrix printer 'point of sale' use , you're doing printing multi-paper invoices carbon paper stuff, need find proper windows driver. (unless you're using old dos point of sale program, heh.)
