How to connect Wii, Cable Box and HDTV to Panasonic Home Theater?

have following equipment :

1. wii console
2. comcast hd cable box
3. panasonic home theater in box 5.1 channel

want outputs come throught home theater. have set in following way :

wii connected hdtv through component cables, while home theater , cable box connected using hdmi. @ point however, im getting output home theater speakers whn im watching dvds. wondering how output wii , cable through home theater system ? need special equipment such optical cables n such ? detailed answers appreciated...thanx :)
