Buying a 2011 Nissan Altima 3.5 sr?

okay, quite involved question ton parts

- i'm looking @ 2011 nissan altima 3.5sr sport package. msrp on 28k (also w/ bluetooth option, won't take if find 1 sport package). price on this, i've read should try around 4k off msrp incentives, won't getting incentives right they've passed , didn't want rush in this. thought offering 25k , if dealer raised it, i'd 25.5k floor mats. i've never bought car , don't feel getting shafted on first go. also, there might 2010 altima 3.5sr @ same dealer, , if so, how different between 2 years, , if go 2010, how lower should because think dealer want rid of it.

- if can add nissan or altima should know time (and please don't moronic should buy american , , that). altima. brother has 97 pathfinder has been through hell , , and 200k miles, still runs fine (though won't pass new inspection rust). how laid out, people don't think it's stylish inside , out, design, it's simple provides functionality need.

- required in process of buying car? have insurance first or can done @ dealer, walk in walk out (obviously there'd quite bit of time in between walking in , out)

- also, after got car, i've got question cvt transmission. drive automatic, if need can manage in standard, 3.5sr, it's automatic manual mode. if felt "pretending" or screwing around in manual mode, can damage transmission or not.
