Who is better Honda or Pontiac?

im 17 getting car , im stuck on get. in love 2 door pontiac g5's , wanna put cool things on rims etc. im educated cars , know gm has poor parts cars , have engine problems, no? g5's cheap know 17000 canadian 2010 brand new! new 2 door civics way better cars ive been told maybe more expensive better quality , last forever? im stuck dont of new 2 door honda's. hondas alot more? should do? thanks
