color of skin has nothing skin type. skin type determined levels , locations of oils , pores on face. yes sun affect melanin glands (glands under first layer of skin creates pigmentation of skin) , deepen color. if skin not lot of sun in winter, melanin glands stop or slow secretion of pigment lighten color of skin

my skin white when cold weather in uk, cause skin dry? (probably :s) think original skin light brown, mom black , dad white when im in hot weather become dark brown if stay out of sun much
