don't. pick guard takes abrasive abuse , paint wears off. pick guards typically laminates or solid material, not painted. pearl on guitar typically finely crafted inlay of abalone shell. if paint pick guard pearlescent paint cheesy @ best. buy nice pick guard @ musical instrument store. if go through painting approach painting car , finish clear coat..........painting pick guard still not recommended.
