engine pontiac 400 ram air. has edelbrock thunder series 650 carb, edelbrock performer intake, hei distributor vaccum advance , 8.8mm taylor cable thundervolt wires. engine rebuilt. means new pistons, rods, rings, timing chain , gears, oil pump, , on. cam may doing think because of vacuum. , edelbrock .470 lift , @ 320 duration.
@ first timing far out, still ran , idled smooth, minus popping @ hi revs. fixed timing , dead on. sounds smoother before has idel in park @ 1100 stay running, once put in gear wants stall stop, , sounds tractor when in gear.
need serious help. , please..no comments saying "its pontiac, there problem" or "its not ford" thank , help.
