Why is my skin peeling?

hi, i'm 17 y.o. male , in last few day skin on fingers has been peeling, started week ago dry skin , little spots peeling, had little cut or , excess skin peels away, have quite rough hands @ least fingers are, lot of carpenter work, days go on, finger tips , and sides of fingers, have callus, peeling, not hurt when peels nor hurt after area exposed, not scared, concerned , wanted know if normal thing , why happening, thank all
