What writers/poets would you suggest to someone "just getting into" poetry?

if you're looking easy read enjoyable, i'd jack kerouac. excellent poet, though not known poetry.

few of favorite percy shelley, emily dickinson, maria sabina, , oscar wilde.

1 of wilde's poems, , favorite of mine, called "requiescat"

tread lightly, near
under snow,
speak gently, can hear
daisies grow.

bright golden hair
tarnished rust,
young , fair
fallen dust.

lily-like, white snow,
hardly knew
woman
sweetly grew.

coffin-board, heavy stone,
lie on breast.
vex heart alone,
@ rest.

peace, peace, cannot hear
lyre or sonnet,
life's buried here,
heap earth upon it.

i've been interested in reading, writing, , lit in general, never got heavy poetry reason. guess wasn't exposed or during high school never read of it.

anyway, favorites share newbie?
