Can I paint my rats cage?

can paint cage long use correct paint (note cages can buy have been painted)

need use plasti-kote paint or non-branded polyvinyl acrylic paint (safe use on children's toys). make sure paint outside, away rats , leave @ least 24 hours dry ( couple of days preferable). may need prime cage sanding off original paint.

task , half do-able.

the outside wire painted pink , im boy im wonder if paint blue or something? if kind of paint?
