Painting garden paving slabs?

have painted concrete regular exterior house paint & found lasted long 'paving paint' had bought. adding bit of sand, give non-splip surface. depends how traffic pavers going also.
cleaning surface diluted hydrochloric acid allow paint adhere better.

i have bought flat cheap-looking paving in garden. i'd cheap solution brighten garden. can paint slabs? has done succesfully, , sort of paint should use (eco paint preferred).
