Do you think Toyota (and other companies) will go back to using a mechanical throttle?

love toyota. parents have had toyota cars since 1990. of friends have toyotas. until recently, considered them reliable , made. thought best cars out there. have honest...the "sudden acceleration" thing making me nervous. not problem itself, because if did happen, put transmission in neutral. bothering me toyota's insistence problem not electronic. how hell know sure? think there problem electronic throttle. , 1 possible cause rf interference. example, whenever call or text message on cell phone, computer goes absolutely nuts...the screen starts flickering , starts scrolling , down itself. it's possible computer picking rf interference somewhere, causing throttle go nuts.

think toyota have admit there problem electronic throttle control? , if so, think might go using mechanical throttle linkage? (what wrong it, anyway?!) other car companies start using mechanical throttle again?
