Troubles with my new monitor?

bought new lg e2250t led monitor. nice looking, soft picture , big (22") screen.
first used dvi cable , shows 3/4 of screen. put traditional cable , happy. however, manu locked. worked until push wrong button (i suppose). how can restore meny of monitor? or should read user guide?
