Starting photography camera?

have nikon d5000, , starting out, , discovered interest in it. not sure if nikon d40, available anymore, last heard replaced d3000, quite close d5000. chose d5000, because of many upgraded features of d5000, screen. thought if photography skill , interest grows, not have buy better camera. can @ both of them @ nikon site. recommend nikon. have used nikon last 2 cameras, , features have loved. last long. hope helped.

hey everyone, i've developed interest in photography have no background knowledge or experience dslrs. want affordable, beginners dslr start will take quality photos.

far i've heard nikon d40 or rebel xti good
