What is the best way/resources to do genealogy in New York City?
immigration documents, naturalization applications, ships passenger lists..all of these should have persons hometown on them. new york's library systems has great genealogy department , should able find lots of information ancestor. should have ancestry.com , heritage quest use while in library , library card can use heritage quest @ home.
