yep!

hydraulic actuators move flaps, slats, control surfaces or landing gear, require additional fluid , must expel fluid, , reservoir fluid comes , goes.

reservoir helps cool fluid volume of fluid retained in it. additionally, fluid in reservoir provides positive head pressure on pump inlet, preventing pump cavitation.

need know reservoirs on aircraft assume storing liquids
