Good cheap areas in Seattle?

moved seattle chicago bit ago, live in disputed area between white center , seattle area. not 100% keen on different aspects of city yet.
pretty close downtown, 10-20 min. bus ride, (no neighborhood not ghetto), there isn't around.
we're planning on moving area closer to/in central area. have advice?
i'd commentary on areas many possible. areas. easy commute, close park, market, or commerce area. also, advice on areas close central cc or cornish.

know magazines, newspapers, or websites check out?

fiancee wants international district, there cheap places, i've heard turn out not hot. can give me pro/con on too? personally, i'm trying convince of area, if has positive or negative area in general welcome.
