pop art brought art material realities of everyday life, popular culture (hence ``pop''), in ordinary people derived of visual pleasure television, magazines, or comics... in pop art, epic replaced everyday , mass-produced awarded same significance unique; gulf between ``high art'' , ``low art'' eroding away. media , advertising favorite subjects pop art's witty celebrations of consumer society.

merged divide between fine arts media , advertising commercial arts, divide had been prominent hundreds of years making pop art major success becoming 1 of biggest movements of 20th century. pop art had ability glamorous , polished though massed produced , relevantly low cost added beauty of it. captured changes in society; enormous economic growth , instant hollywood success celebrities.
