Bike beginner, looking for advice on sport bike choices for school commuting.?

i'm beginner without experience, i'm looking recommendations on starter sport bikes can use commute school with,(including 5-10 mins on freeway), , mean sport bikes, understand people convinced there no "starter" sport bikes i'm not looking else. i've been doing looking around , seen that's it's highly recommended used, i've been looking @ ninja 250r , possibly suzuki sv650sk, relevant appreciated.
