What new car should I buy?

i'm looking buying new car, , following "features":
- gas mileage (30+ hwy)
- low price maintain , repair
- satellite radio
- hardly ever breaks down
- good, solid manufacturer warranty on vehicle
- high re-sale value

far i've looked @ toyota camry, , seems option, i've heard things volkswagen. i'm hesitant touch gm or ford brand due recent financial instability , i've talked to, says gm/ford cars tend have built-in obsolescence (break down repeatedly/monthly after 80k miles/5-6 years). has been supported personal experience watching others well, , primary reason i'm looking @ new cars, not used ones (though i'd willing used car if had good/solid warranty).

i'm out of touch when comes car industry, don't know else at. can make suggestions?
