My 85 pontiac fiero gt headlights dont go work right?

take that's been in exact situation.

headlight motors shot. use electric motor move headlight up/down inside cars body. after 25 years of exposure elements, go out , have replaced.

had happen on '84 fiero shortly after got it. called around estimate new part , found out it's available through pontiac dealer (this 15 years ago).
looked info , found out can manually move headlights up. up, @ least can drive @ night.
open hood. next headlight door; inside compartment , there should star shaped thingy (about 2 or 3 inches across) can turn (some effort required). when turn "knob" can see headlight door open up. disconnected electrical connector motor there no chance go down. knob on passenger side easy find, it's buried underneath stuff on drivers side , may require disassembly.
