2001 Nissan Maxima unreliable?

i've had mine little on 2 years. i've had small annoying problems, ignition coils, mass air flow sensor, , electrical things. when got it, had 26,000 miles , maintained, according records previous owner left behind. know has 2000-2003 has same issues.this particular model ran 3 years in form, every maxima before , after ran atleast 5 years. i'm fed now, problems getting worse, hit 60,000 miles , started leaking oil , engine has resealed, been in shop weeks. there nissan knows , isn't telling us? whole car bad design?
