On flight simulator X my aircraft are silver?

problem occurs when aircraft designed , compiled flight simulator 2004 , installed fsx. problem appears when fsx running in directx 10 preview mode on windows vista , windows 7. microsoft's fsx no longer supporting fs2004-era models directx 10 preview mode turned on. why called directx 10 "preview" mode in simulation. can turn off directx 10 preview in setting option fsx opening screen. there, click customize button , check various tabs directx 10 preview option , un-check it. have close , reopen fsx change take affect.

on flight simulator x got aircraft add-on fly airbus fleet , oddly aircraft textures silver can me fix that?
