Why do social services and foster carers lie so much when it comes to money?

i'm foster carer , don't lie money. ?

can paid private foster carer again take on worst cases local authority unable place own foster carers. helped older children , came had several problems eg. drinking/drugs/prostitution/self mutilation/depression/suicidal etc etc. being foster carer, depending on actual child involved, not allow have full time job since have great many more expectations placed on own natural borne child. also, on financial point, if have no foster child placement don't paid - private fostering money earnt greater fostering through local authority - cover fact placements can more sporadic. foster carers need account money spent on child , there set expectations regarding acceptable clothing, pocket money etc , closely monitored. fostered child asked views , if unhappy claims investigated.

being foster carer entails frequent school visits, medical visits, parental visits, wider family visitations, social worker visits, special school visits, court visits, youth offending team visits, daily journals, pocket money log etc etc... fostered children have regular meetings social worker (at least once month) , regular meetings family (if appropriate) in addition other receiving whether medical/schooling etc. if attending particular school prior being fostered, social services may try , keep - may mean 1 hour or more round trip each morning foster carer if child fostered out of area.

foster caring full time job , paid such. if individual foster carer has not told whole truth regarding money had reasons - since don't give more info it's hard comment. social services prefer not pay private foster carers since cost several times of own foster carers - financially books need balance , whatever pay out should show on audit...so i'd love know more regarding lie about!!

update*******: yes you're right - foster carers abuse, social services workers young, inexperienced or not job right , fail protect children tasked with, abuse occurs in childrens home, people care children money. there many of who, while needing money give our own family life, fostering child , give them chance. chance give child has lost hope. foster carers unable children. social services deliberately withold information can child placed - means foster carer has child unable work with/cope with, children pushed out of foster care return family because costs pay care, social services overwhelmed case load numbers have time fight fires new children hitting system have been abused , don't have time follow have placed find out if ok. it's not fair , system fails - it's have. can hold hand , best children foster , hope touch lives in positive way short time have together. fight them , support them fiercely own natural borne child - , can nothing more. can take responsibility our own actions. i'm sorry you've been let down :-(
