seriously, insurance deffinately beneficial if have smartphone/pda device android/blackberry/palm/htc....etc....be... phones can amount $400 + ....so save trouble of not having insurance , trying figure out how replace brand new phone. fyi...obvoiusly smartphone/pda device cost more insure per month, believe it's $80 give or take $5 depending on type of smartphone. that's because replacement they're sending typically costs couple hundred dollars, still worth if had broken/lost phone.

bottom line: yes, deffinately verizon covers loss/damage/stolen/self inflicted broken phone
