started tracing family ancestry 3 months ago, , going fine until reached generation. can't seem find info earlier 1850.

main person looking felepe (or felipe) alfaro y calero. born in puerto rico in 1847. however, i'm sure father born in spain. i've found records 3 census's records of living in house @ time. issue not him as finding father. have no idea how though!

if find information, amazing! tips on how find father appreciated well. :]
