Freezing issues with my 2009 Nissan Versa?

okay, winter has been frustrating. bought car 6 months ago, , every time leave car more hour door lock , ignition freeze. when insert key won't turn in either one! i've used de-icer oil, pouring hot water on locks, , such. feel shouldn't have every time? have permanent solution problem? think nissan's fault, manufacturing car poorly?
