Can an aircraft's wings break off?

structural failure extremely rare in aircraft, though happen. instance a26 invaders used in vietnam had far many hours on airframes, , there times wings break off in flight. same fire bomber refer too. aircraft subjected tens of thousands of hours of heavy loads, , extreme maneuvers. commercial aircraft, though subjected greater loads, not subjected same extreme maneuvers put excessive stress on airframes. also, in case of boeing, airframes subjected extreme testing destruction determine limits of design are, , if dont meet specs, redesigned until do. remember hauling bombs in war time, or flying low put out forest fires, dangerous flying begin with.

hello. every time fly, when hit turbulence, wings go , down lot. if break, fatal. i'm wondering, how break? remember fire bomber flew on fire , broke it's wings off.
