What to wear to the theater?

wear nice, , dressy. no, not long flowing dress. if own dress pants or dark jeans, skinny jeans, acceptable. if however, wear skirts or dresses work. wear feel comfortable going church in or going upscale restaurant in. thing shouldn't wear live theatre performance ratty jeans, tennis shoes, or other casual garments wear school. hope helps :) way, description same yours, i've been in position.

ok,so have never been theater before don't know wear.i'm 14 , 5'2 please don't wear dress.what kind of outfit appropriate?
please,someone help!
