Monitor Problem Samsung SyncMaster 940n?

water , electronics don't mix well. friend had bose wave radio got rained on. did not work. but, left week dry out , works fine. might lucky, leave week , see.

otherwise, expensive repair or new monitor.

found 1 on amazon (19") , @ $124.00 wont break bank. made asus. if worst comes worst.. copy , paste link below browser.

my monitor syncmaster 940n got wet near buttons. won't turn on. power button not working. there way turn monitor connected computer ?
