Sluggish 2010 Mazda 6?

bought brand new 2010 mazda 6 s grand touring (v6) , drove off lot. after 1000 miles lost 5 miles per gallon, first 2 gears sluggish (the car lurches through both gears), when coast, gears slip around no matter speed, , when gun enter freeway, dances through 3 different rpm rates before settles down. @ times feels i'm dragging or it's chocking. has 4000 miles. dealerships giving me runaround of course. they're telling me car still "learning" driving style. thoughts?
