Problems with university commuting and parents....?

moved new house. attending first year university (study in life sciences ) @ u of t. don't know university of toronto, it's 1 of hardest , biggest uni. in canada science related studies. parents told me take approx. 1 hr , 2 trains or 1 train , 1 bus or uni fine me since our previous locatoin would've taken same time. friends own optometrist told me tthat it's far , going crushed u of t , kill me , parents kept telling me ti wont take long others think. after moved last week, decided try out today , took me 1 hour , 45 mins , got buses on time , took me 2 buses , 1 subway train. told dad , got mad @ me , said " can live wherver want , whatever want, dont ask me anything". excuse being viable situation 3/5 days dad can give me ride nearest subway station , can go uni there , whole trip 45 mins great. other 2 days have commute this. told them it's better let me live off campus cheaper living on campus , dont want let me live there. gonan crushed year , chances of getting med school ruined. parents care education they're nto understand how of impact stress or time waste have on studies. do? i've tried telling them dont understand or listen. classes start in 2 weeks.
