in genealogy, document everything. many budding genealogist frustrated , quit because copied else’s tree improperly documented , later learned researching wrong ancestor. there excellent tutorial new family research @ http://rwguide.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ ; recommend starting out in genealogy. after complete tutorial, following basic plan , requires tools have computer , internet service provider.
person know you, so, start birth certificate, has parents, , ask parents copies of birth certificates, have grandparents on them. if grandparents living, continue process. @ point, experience problem depending on when grandparents or great grandparents born, in that; birth certificates did not exist before 1900s. therefore, need 1930 personal records because types of records not available public 50 100 years depending on jurisdiction in held.
copying or ordering these documents, have gone relatively little expense , have 3 generations plus , have documented primary documents. give 2 parents, 4 grandparents, , 8 great grandparents names start researching. now, can use death certificates, marriage records, census records, immigration records, church records, court records , many other sources research ancestry. public libraries have both ancestry.com , heritage quest.com free use while @ library , library card should able use heritage quest @ home.

i wanting start searching family history, have limited income. looking free websites might me this.......
