Problems with printer!?

hi there,
do:
1. reboot computer.
2. if not work uninstall printer in control panel, reboot computer , reinstall printer. note computer needs rebooted reset registry.....otherwise of files may remain , not reinstalled.
3. if neither of above work take printer refund , different printer.

i set print hp macbook pro did directions told me reason still wont print each time want print says printer on hold how change that?
