Nissan Maxima O2 Sensor Question?

have 1996 nissan maxima. 2 of oxygen sensors bad: bank 1 sensor 1 , bank 2 sensor 1. know bank 1 means pre-cat, difference between sensor 1 , sensor 2? car, same sensor, goes in different spots? i'm looking online 1 buy, , can't find differentiates between two. "pre-cat".
