isn't worth it. condition of 79 big factor consider. if in great shape possibly. way have described car obvious (no offense intended) don't know mustangs @ least, , cars in general. did make cobra mustang in 1979 , low production may in time come have collector's value. there no such engine boss 305 , boss engines discontinued in 1970 there never 1 in 1979 (factory @ least). rare , expensive engines. shelby not affiliated ford in 1979. if take away hype person wanting trade has given. offering 1979 ford mustang v-8 trade against 1995 pontiac grad se. if want mustang far better trades in opinion.

again not make trade.

cons go 79 stang step backwards in technology. no fuel injection. performance won't impressive because after emissions laws started. can't modify car , not hurt it's collector value.

possible insurance rate on mustang lower due age. may able tag , insure antique.

not make trade.

i have 1995 pontiac grand se 2.3 quad in , huge headache.
wants trade me 1979 shelby cobra mustang 305 boss engine.
